May always makes me think of my mom because her birthday is on May 6th and because it's spring; a time to plant flowers and be outside (two things that shape her into the beautiful woman she is.) The image I chose for May was taken when visiting my mom while she lived on a farm in Southern Georgia. We harvested a lot of food that week but on this day we spent an afternoon in a blueberry field picking and eating a lot of fruit! It was the first time I'd ever picked blueberries and the most I had ever seen at one time.  To purchase a calendar click HERE! I love this calendar page! This shoot was inspired by dying eggs with my mom and two sisters every year at Easter. It was one of my favorite traditions (as was the eating of deviled eggs!)
